Senior NEBE Officials, Including Chairperson Melatwork Hailu, Monitor Voting Process in 7th General Election
Addis Ababa, June 1, 2026 (FMC) — Senior officials of the National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), including Chairperson Ms. Melatwork Hailu, are monitoring the voting process in Ethiopia’s 7th General Election.
The officials are observing the conduct of the election as voting continues across various polling stations nationwide.
US Ambassador to Ethiopia Ervin J. Massinga is also among those monitoring the electoral process alongside senior NEBE leadership.
