PM Abiy Receives Message from Djiboutian President

Addis Ababa, April 23, 2026 (FMC) – Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed received Abdoulkader Houssain Omar, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Djibouti, at his office earlier today.

During the meeting, the minister delivered a message from Djibouti’s President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh to the Prime Minister.

The two sides also held discussions on ongoing cooperation between Ethiopia and Djibouti, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties, the Ethiopian leader said in a social media post.
