African Political Parties Summit Participants Visit Prosperity Party Headquarters, MESOB Service Center

Addis Ababa, November 5, 2026 (FMC) – Participants of the Second African Political Parties Summit have visited the headquarters of Ethiopia’s Prosperity Party and the MESOB One-Stop Service Center in Addis Ababa to gain insights into the country’s political philosophy, development initiatives and public service modernization efforts.

At the Prosperity Party headquarters, the visiting delegates toured a permanent exhibition showcasing the party’s history, the Medemer philosophy, major initiatives, achievements and future vision.

They also attended video presentations highlighting the party’s journey, key milestones and the development of its headquarters.

The delegation subsequently visited the MESOB Service Center, a government initiative that brings together multiple public institutions through an integrated platform to streamline service delivery.

During the visit, the participants received briefings on Ethiopia’s digital public services, technological advancements and ongoing efforts to modernize government service delivery.

They expressed amazement at the country’s progress in digital development and technological innovation, particularly the integration of multiple government services through a unified system.

The visits were organized as part of the Second African Political Parties Summit, which is being held in Addis Ababa under the theme, “Governing for Growth: Political Parties as Architects of Africa’s Economic Future.”

The three-day summit, taking place at the Adwa Victory Memorial Museum, brings together political party leaders, heads of state and policymakers from across Africa to deliberate on strategies for advancing employment creation, inclusive development and the structural transformation of African economies.

The summit also features the Africa Women Political Leadership Forum and the African Youth in Politics Forum, whose joint opening session was held earlier today.
